Drop In's and Community Class Descriptions

Deep Relaxation Yoga at the Eldersburg Library
Be prepared to move inward, ground and relax, in these gentle yoga classes, great for beginners and those looking to reconnect with their internal practice. Using simple stretches and Yoga asanas, intentionally directed verbal cuing, followed by a guided deep relaxation, we work from the physical body to the subtle bodies, restoring and inviting peace to our being. These classes in particular are a great way to get back into your yoga practice, or to recharge halfway through the week.  No experience necessary. Please bring a mat and a blanket. All attendees need to register through the Carroll County Public Library.

Good Morning Yoga at Gold's Gym Eldersburg
Every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 7 am. Our classes at Gold's are focused on sustaining a completely balanced yoga experience. Starting with a centering warm up series, we gradually build the the mind-body-breath connection through beginner to intermediate yoga asanas, cleansing kriyas, body-weight exercises and use of props (blocks, straps and bands) and close with an introduction to meditation. Each class is enlivening, cumulative and slightly different. All are welcome.
Dates:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 7-8 am.

Yoga Is Necessary at Gold's Gym Eldersburg
​Tuesday evenings, arrive at 7pm to train body, mind and spirit in this Energizing, yet grounded yoga practice. Together learning how to decondition the rush, rediscover the mind-breath-body connection, and find power in stillness. This class is offered to draw a different crowd, and the class itself may differ greatly from one week to the next. In general, this class both helps to strengthen and stretch the Athlete through the practice of Holding Static poses longer, adding increased repetitions to core and leg strengthening series, and maintaining deeper stretches more comfortably and completely, introduction to locks, holds and internal work. Some class experience recommended.
